 8-days trip OR 8-day trip? A 30-minutes speech OR a 30-minute speech? 5-kilometres run or 5-kilometre run?

boo-boo: The company allows me to have an 8-days trip to Jamaica. 

yippee: The company allows me to have an 8-day trip to Jamaica. 

so, the correct answer is found in the yippee!

feeling diaristic
