my phone. bada bing! it died. there was some numeric command in an ominous dark background. after a few seconds, the background turned light green or was it bluish green. the problem could have been fixed right away, had i seriously read the fine prints. volume down button plus power button.

the above nightmare gave me an invaluable lesson.
